GSP for iPhoto

Geotagalog-Icon-large.pngOne of great new features of iPhoto is "Places" which allows you to create stacks of images based on where the photo was taken. Great for family vacation photo organization to be sure. You can manually enter the location information of each photo, but it's kind of cumbersome. While your iPhone will automatically input the location any photo taken by the iPhone camera, using the built-in GSP feature, photos taken with your standard digital camera will not. Unless you have a digital camera with a built-in GSP device. Enter Geotagalog by Calf Trail Software. Geotagalog makes it easy to geotag photos as you import them into iPhoto. Open a tracklog, connect your camera, and you're almost done. Location-enable your favorite digital camera! You can read more about his at the Geotagalog website.
